Next Saturday - May 16th - the North Bay Downtown Farmers' Market will open for the 2009 season. There are many new and exciting things happening at the Market this year. Be sure to check it out!

The Market is made up of various local farmers, small business owners, crafters and artists who strive to provide our community with a variety of quality locally gown and handmade products. Many of your favorite vendors will be returning and you'll see some new faces as well.

There is lots of FREE parking and the Market is open "rain or shine" every Saturday from 8:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Bring your friends, your family & your dogs as well to the same great location as the past couple of years --the parking lot on McIntyre St. across from City Hall {behind the TD Canada Trust on Main St.}

New to the Market this season is the Coffee Club. See the Market Booth (located in or about the middle of the Market) or any vendor to find out how you can join. Buy your coffee, tea or any hot drink from the North Bay Downtown Farmers' Market Booth and help support the Market.

Also new-- May 30th you will be able to enjoy fresh local maple syrup & pancakes at the Market for the Pancake Festival Stay tuned for more details as they become available. Thank you to Matthews Maple Syrup who will be providing the syrup.

Proceeds from the Market Booth and the Pancake Festival go towards making the dream of a permanent home for North Bay's Downtown Farmers' Market come true.

For more upcoming Special Event dates & information be sure to watch the local newspapers and listen to the local radio stations.
