Event: Discovery Channel to Film the Carousel

Details: Heritage North Bay is so proud and excited to announce that the Discovery Channel program "How Things Work" will be coming to film the carousel for their new 13-part series How Machines Work. The series will use a combination of cutting edge computer animation and High Definition live action to take viewers inside the machines to see how they really work. It will be broadcast in the United States, Canada and Europe.

Each half-hour episode will focus on four machines, giving viewers an in-depth look at how they work, and they have chosen our carousel as one of the machines. On the day of filming the carousel will be operating, and filled with children.
