What on earth is a family to do that ends up in a Crisis situation with their animals.

Kathy Jeanneault of All Heart Pet Rescue... is just that "all heart" Not only does she take in excess unwanted animals from Ontario Shelters but she also has come to the aide of many people that she has never met before just to assure that their pet will be safely kept while they are in Crisis Center or Transition house situation.

During 2009 Kathy has helped a woman that was evicted from her apartment of 13 years as she became financially drained and unable to keep up with her rent on time. She owned a senior lab mix and a senior cat. Both animals had been fixed by the owner in their younger years. These animals like family had no place to go. The Crisis center staff called upon Jeanneault to see if she could assist in the situation. Two months later the dog and cat still reside at the Pet Rescue until the owner can return to a home environment.

Jeanneault doesn't ask people in these situations for money, but assistance with cleaning kennels, feeding and watering is always appreciated.

Their was recently a situation where Jeanneault was called upon by a family that had to move out of their house temporarily because of poor living conditions. Until their situation changes, their dog Willard and the two cats safely await their owners return.

Jeanneault who founded ALL HEART PET RESCUE in 1998 was married at the time with three children. But since 2007, Jeanneault has been operating her business alone with three children and only the income of her boarding kennel. Jeanneault knows what its like to have difficulty in coping and making the best of what you have.

In the past ten years over 3000 dogs have been rehomed and hundreds of loving cats as well, because of the love and passion this woman has,.

When you first meet Jeanneault she is not at all what you'd expect, the thin, blonde woman often caddy with endless amounts of energy, was once an only child and now she says " im never lonely"

She encourages people that want something to love to consider having a pet in their family.

Open house is a regular event in Powassans animal shelter from 12-3 every Sunday.
