City woman charged with sexual assault

During the end of April and the beginning of May it is alleged that a woman sexually assaulted a man that was known to her. The man rebuffed the female and she became angry with him. It is further alleged that she then assaulted him and threatened him with bodily harm.

Csts. Aimee Wilson and K. Robertson of the North Bay Police attended a residence within the city and arrested a suspect in relation to these alleged incidents.

Doreen NELSON 49 years old of Highway 11 North is charged with Sexual Assault and Uttering Threats. She was kept in custody for a bail hearing.
