St. Joseph - Scollard Hall

Last Thursday St. Joseph - Scollard Hall celebrated our creative community with the annual 'Insights and Sounds' evening.
On display were paintings, photos and other works created by our students. The event was also used as a vehicle to raise money for Angels Anonymous, the group responsible for sending the Sullivan family on their trip to Florida.
The evening also put the spotlight on our musical and thespian community with student musicians, vocalists and actors demonstrating their great talents.
The audience packed the house as they were treated to the play "Txt or Die", written, directed and acted in by our own Josh Pride. This play won Academic Excellence awards for writing, directing and acting at the local Sears Drama Festival and is going on to provincials from our regional competition. The SJ-SH drama department was also given a technical award for their work on the play.
