Near North board & occasional teachers reach tentative agreement

The Elementary Teachers’ Federation of Ontario (ETFO) Near North Occasional Teacher Local and the Near North District School Board reached a tentative agreement today. Details of the four year agreement will not be released until the contract has been ratified. Dates for ratification for both parties are forthcoming.

The Near North District School Board has approximately 335 elementary occasional school teachers who belong to the ETFO Near North Occasional Teachers Local in 36 elementary schools, serving more than 7,000 students in the districts of Nipissing and Parry Sound.
