Gearing up for the 3rd annual Cycle for Autism

The North Bay and Area Chapter of Autism Ontario will be hosting our third annual Cycle for Autism on Saturday, June 6 at Lee Park to raise awareness of autism spectrum disorders and funds for our chapter. Registration, a free barbecue and activities will begin at noon with the cycle beginning at 1 pm.

Information booths from local groups, organizations and service providers will also be set up. Participants are encouraged to cycle, walk, run or rollerblade and prizes will be available to be won! All monies raised stay in North Bay and surrounding area. Money raised from previous cycles has gone to a variety of projects including helping offset the cost of summer programs for and providing social opportunities for children on the spectrum, speakers, and allowed us to provide funds to local school boards and agencies to help educate their staff and others on autism spectrum disorders.
