On Saturday, May 9th, 2009, M&M Meat Shops will celebrate its 21st annual Charity BBQ Day at more than 470 locations across Canada.
Franchisees and volunteers will flip burgers and hot dogs to reach this year's goal of raising $2.1 million for the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of Canada (CCFC). Over the past 21 years, Charity BBQ Day has raised more than $16.5 million for medical research into inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Canada has among the highest rates of Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis in the world and there is no known cause and no cure.
In addition, with BBQ season right around the corner, M&M Meat Shops has great spring recipes and the latest trends for the grill!
