Callander confirms construction date for all season facility

The Municipality of Callander has now confirmed the construction schedule for its “All Seasons Facility” located at Yarlasky Park. The construction of the facility (which will contain a number of environmentally friendly elements) is scheduled to run through to the beginning of October.

Consequently, the annual Go Green with Callander Conservation Exhibition launched in 2008 will be postponed this year, returning in 2010, bigger and better than ever.

Mayor Lavigne wishes to thank all participants and especially the Greater Nipissing Stewardship Council for their support and calls on all participants to plan on participating in the Go Green with Callander, a Regional Environmental Exhibition, in 2010.
