Damages pegged at $140,000 for Jane Street fire

Reports indicate that a house fire at the top of Jane Street Saturday afternoon sustained at least $140,000 in damages. Chief Fire Prevention Officer Randy Vezina notes that 3 stations responded and arrived to smoke and flames visible.

The cause of the fire is unknown as the investigation continues.

Vezina says one of the tenants suffered smoke inhalation.
