Sergeant Seguin ... Correction Police Chief Seguin

Reports indicate that West Nipissing has now has a new police chief and most folks in North Bay will recognise the name. Popular North Bay Police Officer Chuck Seguin is set to hang up his NBPS badge and take over the chief’s duties in West Nipissing.

Seguin, who was with the RCMP for 7 years, has been with North Bay City Police for the past 21 years in a number of roles including: Criminal Investigator, Community Programs Officer, Quality Assurance Officer and Patrol Sergeant. Seguin is perhaps best known for his work in championing the local Special Olympics and the annual Torch Run.

Seguin will be on the job in West Nipissing as of April 20th.
