City man charged with assault with a weapon

On the 7th of April shortly before 1 PM it is alleged that a man became angry with a woman that was known to him and assaulted her. He also held a knife to her that caused cuts to her body.

He fled before Cst. Darcy Wall and Christian Elia from the North Bay Police attended. However the officers located him at a nearby hotel.

Adam MARTIN 23 years old of Oakwood Av. is charged with Assault with a Weapon, Weapons Dangerous, Assault and Breach of Probation. He is being held in custody for a bail hearing.
