Nipissing University latest to lay off staff

BayToday has learned that Nipissing University is the latest sector to lay off employees.

Unnamed sources informed us that two Administrative Employees were let go on Friday with more expected this week. The Source also says ‘numerous’ support staff positions are expected to be slashed this week.

“I am an employee here, and can tell you that staff are EXTREMELY unhappy with being left dangling over the weekend not knowing what is going to happen.”

Nipissing University informed BayToday that they are currently working on an official statement which we will publish it as soon as it is released.
