Gets violent with officers

On the 7th of March shortly after 3 PM Cst. Greg Dix of the North Bay Police Service attended a call in regards to an eviction from a business in the 300 block of Lakeshore Dr.

As the officer approached a male he was struck in the head with a full can of beer.

A struggle then took place and this male had to be pepper sprayed in order to subdue him.

The officer was assisted by Cst. Ross Lingley.

Patrick MARTIN 26 years old of Robarts St. is charged with Assault With a Weapon and Assault to Resist Arrest. He kept in custody for a bail hearing.
