Ecstasy and cocaine turn up during search

City of Temiskaming Shores - On the 5th of March 2009, members of the Ontario Provincial Police Drug Enforcement Section and officers from the Temiskaming Ontario Provincial Police Detachment executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act Warrant to Search a Whitewood Street residence in the City of Temiskaming Shores.

A quantity of Methamphetamine, MDMA – Ecstasy, Cocaine, Cannabis Marihuana and Cannabis Resin were seized with a potential street value of $7276.00. One (1) adult person has been charged as a result of the investigation. She was released by police by way of Promise to Appear with conditions.

Charged:

1. Melissa Gravel (26 yrs) of Temiskaming Shores. Charged with one (2) counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking contrary to section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and three (3) counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance contrary to section 4(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
