Sundridge man charged with assault police

On the 27th of Feb. shortly after 10 PM Csts. Dave Wilson and Steve Carleton of the North Bay Police received a call to a local bar on Seymour St. in regards to an eviction.

As the officers were speaking to a man within the establishment, he swung at one of them, and he was then subdued and arrested.

It is further alleged that the officers found a canister of pepper spray on his person.

Paul CONWAY 36 years old of Sundridge is charged with Assault Police and Possession of a Prohibited Weapon. He was kept in custody for a bail hearing.
