City police foil attemted robbery

On the 13th of Feb. shortly after 10 PM, officers of our Service responded to a report of an alleged robbery. This occurred at a 24 hour convenience store on Cassells St. Information provided to responding officers was that a male subject wearing a balaclava entered the store and brandished a large knife. The suspect then demanded cash and fled. A suspect was located a short distance away and arrested by Csts. Greg Dix and Steve Taylor of our Service.

Dwayne HEINTZ 44 years old of Four Mile Lake Rd. in North Bay is charged with Robbery, Disguise With Intent and Breach of Probation. He was held for a bail hearing.
