Mock Trial to offer employers and workers sound information

The North Bay Regional Labour-Management Committee will be hosting a Mock Trial for area employers and workers.

This event will be held on February 25th 2009 at 7pm at the Norman Weaver Auditorium. The event is free of charge to participants thanks in part to our corporate sponsors. To register please call 497-5235. The evening promises to be both informative and entertaining.

This mock trial will present you with an excellent opportunity to learn about:

THE CASE

A young summer student on his first day was working on a high-rise project when he fell three storeys to his death down an elevator shaft.

The contractor and supervisor are charged under the Occupational Health and Safety Act and the Construction Regulation.
