Fire destroys Bonfield gas station

Fire crews in Bonfield responded to a structure fire call on Hwy 17 at Bonfield Friday night at about 9:30pm.

Crews arrived to at the Crevier Gas Station and First Spike Restaurant which was fully involved and started to battle the blaze but it proved a stubborn one and the facility was completely destroyed.
Officials have few details about how the fire started or the total estimate of damages and have called in the Ontario Fire Marshall.

There were no injuries.
