Couple charged after performing home surgery

On the 21st of Jan. the North Bay Police Service received information from a concerned citizen that a genital body modification procedure was performed on an adult female within a North Bay residence.

As a result of this information two individual adults were arrested.

On the 22nd of Jan. a search warrant was executed on a North Bay home in relation to this complaint.
At that time an illegal hand gun was seized.

Andrew NILAND 29 years old of Airport Rd. is charged with 3 counts of Aggravated Assault, 1 count of Possession of a Prohibited Weapon and 1 count of Unsafe Storage of a Prohibited Weapon. He remains in custody for a bail hearing.

Adrianne CARBONE 20 years old also of Airport Rd. is charged with 1 count of Aggravated Assault. She is to attend court at a later date.
