At this location there are two northbound lanes and two southbound lanes of travel. Due to weather conditions, only one lane in each direction was clear. The driver/lone occupant of the northbound vehicle, Anthony Henry GATTO, age 64 of Sudbury and the driver/lone occupant of the pick-up truck, Misty Lee JEANVEAU, age 23 of Burwash Township (Estaire, ON) were pronounced dead at the scene.

Alcohol was not involved in the collision. Post mortems are scheduled. The investigation is continuing.
