Ellen Faulkner says due to the price of Aluminum dropping the receipts for the month of December was considerably low taking in just $17.20 for pop cans.

She also indicates that returns of liquor bottles netted $69.80 and that they took in $1.80 for tin donations and the house bank from Triple M Metal LP is $18.48 so the grand total from April to December 2008 is $10,846.76.

Faulkner says even if the price is down she encourages everyone to continue to save their pop cans and beer cans.

““We do have lots of Banana boxes full of crushed cans and a car-port full of cans to be crushed. Remember we are storing the cans,” she states.

“Please keep saving ... and don't throw those liquor bottles out bring them (and your pop cans) to North Bay Mall Saturdays (between Sportchek and No Frills) from 10am to 12pm.
