City woman charged with fail to remain

On the 7th of Jan. during the afternoon hours, two motor vehicles collided within an intersection in North Bay.
The at fault motorist fled the scene without exchanging any information.

This motorist then allegedly attended the area of the North Bay Police Service building on Princess St. and walked the remainder of the way to retrieve her driver’s licence that had been suspended the day before for having failed a roadside breath test instrument.

It is further alleged that this same person then drove home and again failed to report the collision.

The investigating officers Csts. Ken Rice and Steven Brown of our Service then attended the collision scene and seized a licence plate that was left at this location.

The officers ended up attending a home within the city and arrested a suspect in relation to these incidents.

Desiree BOMBERRY 23 years old of Harris Dr. is charged with a traffic offence, Fail to Remain under the Criminal Code and Drive Under suspension.

She is to attend court on the 17th of Feb.
