Good treats ... healthy eats

Roving shutter bug and loyal BayToday reader Joanna Liritzis sent in the following photos from the grand opening of North Bay’s latest restaurant on Main Street Friday.

Mayor Victor Fedeli was guest of honour as owner of ‘Good Treats Healthy Eats,’Travis Martin and his staff held an official cake cutting ceremony officially opening the new business.

“I like to support our community,” says Liritzis of her decision to attend the opening of the new cafe and eatery that is located at 179 Main Street near the corner of Wyld.

“I had breakfast at Good Treats Healthy Eats and it was delicious. I am planning to go back and visit this place.”

Offering organic products and fair trade coffee as well as fresh gourmet sandwiches, salads, and sweets Good Treats Healthy Eats will quickly become a favourite for locals.

"Finally a (restaurant that offers) healthy oriented menu with local organic products and the first restaurant to offer 100% biodegradable take-out,” she adds.
