City woman charged with weapons dangerous

On the 3rd of Jan. at approximately 2 AM it is alleged that a woman held a knife to 2 people known to her and further that she restrained these people from leaving a residence. When the assailant did leave the home it is further alleged that as she was driving a vehicle she attempted to drive over one of the victims.

Cst. Dave Wilson of the North Bay Police received the call and shortly after arrested a female in relation to these incidents.

Josee LEBEL 22 years old of Massey Dr. is charged with Assault With a Weapon, Weapons Dangerous, 2 Counts of Forcible Confinement and Dangerous Driving. She was kept in custody for a bail hearing.
