McIntyre Street man charged with assault

On the 1st of Jan. at approximately 6:45 AM it is alleged that a man became angry with another man that was known to him.

This anger led the first male to begin striking the second male. When the victim fell to the ground, it is further alleged that the attacker continued punching and kicking the man.

The victim was brought to the North Bay General Hospital by ambulance and Cst. Barry MacIntosh of the North Bay Police received the call.

A few hours later the officer arrested a suspect in relation to this incident.

Ketan PATEL 45 years old McIntyre St. W is charged with Assault Bodily Harm and is to appear in court on the 17th of Feb.
