Look what Sandy and her kids saw at the Waterfront

A quick drive home via the waterfront Monday turned into a nature lesson for BayToday reader Sandy Martin and her two children.

They spotted something perched atop a light standard which turned out to be a snowy owl. Martin says it was truly a neat thing to see and that it was great for her son and daughter to witness the bird in its natural habitat versus a zoo.

“He looked so enormous,” she notes.
