Traffic stop leads to drug charges

On the 19th of Dec. during the morning hours Csts. Brad Reaume and Paul Trahan of the North Bay Police had occasion to make a traffic stop in North Bay. At this time the driver was unable to identify himself and was eventually arrested.

A search of his person turned up a large amount of cash, and a large quantity of what is believed to be Percocets and other drugs. A search of his vehicle turned up a flick knife.

Jamie DAVIS 30 years old of Lansdown Av. in Callander is charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance and Possession of a Prohibited Weapon. He is to appear in court on the 21st of Jan.
