On the 8th of Dec. at approximately 4:30 AM an elderly woman in her pyjamas was wandering around a parking lot of a convenience store. This had been going on for approximately 45 minutes and the woman was trying to get her dog and appeared very disoriented.

Cst. Scott Berry of the North Bay Police received the call and the woman was brought to the North Bay Hospital.
Not knowing her identity for medical purposes, the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals was called to assist.

That organization did a scan on the dog and located a chip identifying the owner.

The woman’s relatives were now notified and attended the Hospital.

The woman in question was examined and released.
