Hwy 129 open after fatal MVC

OPP News Release *********************** Thessalon OPP advise that a Fatal Motor Vehicle Collision occurred on 24 Nov 08 at approximately 5:30pm. The collision occurred on Hwy 129, approximately 40kms north of Thessalon on Hwy 129.

Thessalon OPP advise that a Fatal Motor Vehicle Collision occurred on 24 Nov 08 at approximately 5:30pm. The collision occurred on Hwy 129, approximately 40kms north of Thessalon on Hwy 129.

The collision involved a Transport Truck and a van. The driver of the van was killed, at this time no names have been released until Next-of-Kin are notified.

Highway 129 was closed from 5:30pm until 12:30am on 25 Nov 08.

Technical Traffic Collision officers and Identification units are investigation.
