On the 25th of Nov. shortly after 4 AM Cst. Al Bedard of the North Bay Police was on routine patrol when he spotted fresh tracks within the snow.

These tracks were leading to various parked vehicles. The officer continued to follow these footprints until he caught up to a suspect in a driveway of a home in the 400 block of Stones St.

A 37 year old male suspect was arrested and found to be in possession of several articles believed to have been taken from vehicles.

This man is charged with Trespass at Night and Theft Under. It is further believed that this suspect has been active in thefts from vehicles for the past 2 months. He is being kept in custody for a bail hearing.
