Near North one step closer to a new school

The Near North District School Board is pleased to announce that today, the Ministry of Education advised us that we have met their criteria for capital submissions for the new Almaguin Highlands Secondary School.

“We are delighted to hear that we are one step closer to a new Almaguin Highlands Secondary School for our district,” said Heli Vail, Director of Education.

The Board is now able to continue with the process of selecting an architect to design the new facility.
