Be a part of hockey excitement this weekend and make sure you see the NHL Alumni Hockey Club take on the law enforcement all-star ‘Enforcers’ Saturday November 15th at Memorial Gardens, North Bay. Puck drops at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are available in advance or at the door.

Area hockey fans have an opportunity to see some of their NHL favourites don the blades in support the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Ontario Special Olympics.

The law enforcement all-star team - The Enforcers - is a joint force initiative by the Ontario Provincial Police, and North Bay Police Service. Team members, wearing the popular ‘Enforcer’ jersey are coached by OPP Chief Superintendent Scottie “Bowman” Tod. Joining him behind the bench is Superintendent Jim Szarka and the police are bringing in some of their own big guns from across the region to ensure a win.

It’s the 15th Anniversary of the NHL Alumni charity hockey tour and the Enforcers are proud to be associated with the game that has helped raise close to $25,000 over the years for local Special Olympic athletes here in North Bay.

“There is a definite energy in the air,” explains Sergeant Darla Bennison – Enforcer’s promotion coordinator. “The momentum is building to the big game - this year promises to be the best ever, great family entertainment.”
