Once again Northern Ontario is front and centre at the Royal Winter Agricultural Fair in Toronto with the Northern Ontario Pavilion which includes exhibits by local business Canadore College and Powassan’ s Knowlton Ridge.

In photos provided by FedNor Minister Tony Clements’ office Chef Daniel Esposito from Canadore College's School of Hospitality whips up a batch of sweet and tasty rice squares on the cooking stage at Winter Fair. Esposito used Shoal Lake Wild Rice as his main ingredient, the Shoal Lake rice is one of over 40 organizations and food operations featured at the FedNor-supported Northern Ontario Agri-food pavilion. And Esposito is one of the guest chefs using only farm grown food and products from the North in their cooking demonstrations.

At the Knowlton Ridge Equestrian display Roberta Cardwell takes visitors to the fair on a guided picture tour of the centre in Powassan. Knowlton Ridge is one of the North's premier equestrian training facilities and is proud that they have a young member competing in this year's horse show at The Royal in Toronto.

FedNor has supported the Northern Ontario Agri-food Pavilion for the past eight years and the pavilion promises to showcase over 40 agriculture, agri-food and equine-related organizations and companies during the 10-day fair from November 7 to 16.
