City police seeking help with tire slashings

At approximately 3 AM on the 8th of Nov. a man began slashing tires to automobiles in the area of Lakeshore Dr. and Main St. East.

Numerous vehicles including several belonging to Thomson Auto Sales, Autobrokers, and Canarino Nissan had their tires slashed by what later was known to be a man wearing a black ¾ length trench coat. At this time it was raining in the area.

He is also believed to have keyed several automobiles and kicked headlights to one car.

This has caused several thousand dollars worth or damage and North Bay Police Service investigators are requesting any information from the public that may have seen a man either walking on Main St. E. or Lakeshore Dr. at approximately 3 AM on Saturday the 8th of Nov.
