Halloween display falls victim to arson

On the 29th of Oct. at approximately 6 PM a fire was set to two hay bales in front of a residence in the 100 block of 4th Av. E.

These bales were part of a Halloween display that was leaning up against the house.

A passing motorist saw the fire and stopped, then used a rake to pull the bales away from the home. The North Bay Fire Department then attended to extinguish the flames.
