Police looking for diamond dash man

On the 20th of Oct. at approximately 3 PM a man entered a jewellery store in Northgate Square for the second time that afternoon.

It is alleged that as this man was holding and examining a $15,000. ring, he ran out to the parking lot and escaped into a waiting vehicle that was driven away.

The man is described as male, white, in his 40s, 6' with salt and pepper collar length hair, clean shaven, medium build and spoke with a French accent. At the time he wore blue jeans, a tan jacket with a dark sweater underneath.
The jewellery is described as a lady's white gold and platinum solitaire engagement ring with a 1 Kt. Diamond and lasered NWT3-38647.

The vehicle is described as being a 2 door red/burgundy SUV truck.
