You are invited to attend our Evening of Excellence Awards Ceremony on Tuesday, October 21, 2008 where we will be honouring small businesses, young professionals and students for their outstanding achievements over the past year. The event is being held at école secondaire publique Odyssée and will start at 6:00 pm with Cocktails and Hors d’oeuvres and the Awards Ceremony will follow at 7:00 pm. Keynote Speakers: Des Anthony, Creative Learning and Christian Prost, North Riders. Tickets are $15 per person.

Other events being held during the week are:

The AODA and What It Means to You Seminar – Customer service standards from a disabilities perspective – Wednesday, October 22, 2008 from 8:30 am to 10:00 am at Discovery North Bay. $15 for Chamber members/ $25 for non-members.

Energy Conservation Seminar – Helping businesses reduce their energy consumption. – Thursday, October 23, 2008 from 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm at Nipissing University, Rm F213.

Mini-Trade Show & Business After Hours – Nipissing University main entrance from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm.

Keeping Customer Service Top of Mind While Managing Your Business Seminar – 2 hour interactive session presented by Suzanne Fleury - Friday October 24, 2008 from 8:30 am to 10:30 am at the Holiday Inn Express, Ferguson Room. $20 for Chamber members / $30 for non-members.
