NBFD still needs your help

With only 4 days till Halloween the folks at the North Bay Fire & Emergency Services say they are far from the goal needed to make 5,000 city children happy.

"Only 4 days to go to Hallowe’en and we only have about 1/4 of what we require," notes chairman Chris Cuthbertson.

"We only have 40 pumpkins, 3 large totes of candy, 50 boxes of chips so far, and 5,000 children to make happy," .

Organizers say they need the following desperately:
• Enough wrapped candy to fill 9 more large totes
• At least 70 more pumpkins
• Cheezies, chips, etc.

Cash donations are also very much appreciated and go toward the purchase of treats for the kids.

Once again the North Bay Fire Department will host 11th annual Halloween Night for Families.

The Halloween festivities will be held at fire station #1 and they are calling on the public for their help. With only 9 days to go and an expected 5,000 children stopping by the station organisers are in great need of the following and will accept donations until October 28th:

• lots and lots of wrapped candy and chips chips, cheezies, etc.

• large decorations and pumpkins

• cash donations are also very much appreciated

Don't forget to come by Station 1 on October 31st from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and enjoy the Halloween festivities.
