Pick a movie ... any Christmas movie Reminder

The North Bay and Area Parade Committee announced today that the Santa Claus Parade will take place Sunday, November 16th at 12pm and this year’s theme will be Christmas Movies.

Choose your favourite Christmas movie and design a float to match.


Sunday, November 16th, 2008 at 12:00 p.m.

This year’s theme will allow for a great deal of creativity by the participants.

Award Categories Will Include:

Bands Hospitality Industry
Choirs/Singing Groups
Non-Profit Groups
Commercial/Industrial Groups Post Secondary Schools
Secondary Schools
Elementary Schools
Retail Outlets
Financial Institutions
Sports Groups Service Groups or Organizations

Awards will also be given for the Best Overall Float and the group with the Best Spirit.

Deadline for applications is Friday, November 7th, 2008
