The Amelia Rising Sexual Assault Centre of Nipissing, Bonfield Family Life Centre and the Bonfield Golden Age Club welcomed women from near and far to the 5th Annual Bonfield Women’s Convention. The convention was held Wednesday September 24, 2008 from 9am-3pm at the Parish Hall in Bonfield, Ontario.

This year’s convention had over 160 women in attendance who were provided with information on various aspects of women’s wellness. Everyone had a good time, made new friends, had a great lunch, some won door prizes, and danced the Sacred Dance to close the day. This event is always free so we would like to thank everyone who contributed monetary donations, food donations and door prize donations.

The Bonfield Women’s Convention is held every year on the last Wednesday of September at the Parish Hall in Bonfield, so mark your calendar, as next years date is September 30, 2008.
