Lunch time collision closes Cassells Street 9 pics

North Bay City Police are continuing their investigation into the collision but indicate the truck ran into the back of the van that was then pushed into the hydro pole and split same.

The accident occurred at approximately 11:40 AM Saturday with all occupants in the van that included two -7 year olds and one-3 year old, taken to hospital by ambulance.

Five people were taken to hospital shortly after the noon hour Saturday following a collision between a Brick truck and a minivan.

Police are currently on scene and anticipate that Cassells Street between Aubrey and Chippewa Streets will be closed until 3pm as they remove the vehicles and work with North Bay Hydro to address the severely damaged lamp post as a result of the MVC.
