Last chance to register for museum PD camp day

Registration is almost full for the Museum PD Day Programming on September 29th, 2008. The full day program will take place at the museum. Children aged 7-12 are invited to participate. Registrations will be accepted until 4:30 pm on Friday, September 26th.

During the morning, children will take part in the Amazing Architects program. Children will learn about the young village of North Bay by exploring old photographs and taking a historic walk. Students then apply what they have learned as we construct a miniature town site.

In the afternoon, we will be offering our popular CSI (Cultural Scene Investigator) program. Children will express their inner CSI as they learn how to examine artifacts. We will also learn about the people who might have used these artifacts in the past. Mystery objects are explored. Is it a thingamabob or a what-cha-ma-call-it? A scavenger hunt in the museum galleries will test even superior sleuths!

DATE - September 29th, 2008 PD Day

TIME - 9AM to 4PM with extended care available between 8am and 5pm

LOCATION - Discovery North Bay Museum

AGES - Children aged 7 - 12 are invited to participate.

COST - $25 Members
$30 Non Members
