Vehicle stop results in drug charges

North Bay - On the 16TH of September 2008, members of the Ontario Provincial Police Drug Enforcement Section and officers from the North Bay Police Service conducted a vehicle stop in the City of North Bay.

A quantity of oxycodone pills was seized with a potential street value of $450.00. One (1) person has been charged as a result of the investigation.

Charged:

1. Darren CARRUTHERS (age 34yrs) of North Bay. Charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance contrary to section 4(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. Released via Promise to Appear.
