Scout leaders send a special thank you to everyone in the community who stopped by to have their cars washed and tell BayToday that they are proud of the kids efforts as the troop raised just under $600, which has everyone excited because in years past the best they have done is $400.

The group will use the funds to support the group’s programming costs for the BEAVER Colony (boys and girls aged 5-7), CUB Pack (children aged 8-10), SCOUT Troop (ages 11-14) and VENTURER's group (ages 15-17).

The next community event will be ‘Apple Day’ in October.
