City police investigating infant's death

On the 8th of Sept. at approximately mid day, the North Bay Police Service along with the Coroners Office became involved in an investigation involving the death of a 10 month old male.

Officers received a call to attend a home within the city in regards to the infant showing no vital signs.

The child was transported by ambulance to the North Bay General Hospital where death was pronounced a short time later.

At present, this death has been classified as undetermined.

The investigation is ongoing but is expected to conclude in the near future.
