Commanda Township – As a result of a serious motor vehicle collision that occurred on Sunday, September 7th, 2008 shortly after 4 p.m., on Highway 17 west of North Bay. Gerrett BENNINK, 59 years old, of Rimbey, Alberta has succumbed to his injuries at the North Bay and District Hospital.
Mr. Bennink was the driver of the Ford F350 with tri-axle and travelling westbound at the time of the collision.
Investigation is still ongoing.
