Canadian Antiques Roadshow appraiser Janet Carlile will visit North Bay as part of a unique fundraiser for the Downtown Improvement Area, and @discoverynorthbay - the North Bay and Area Museum.

On 12 September 2008, Ms. Carlile will deliver a presentation called "Collecting Antiques in the 21st Century", followed by a Question and Answer session. Refreshments will be served. Tickets to this event are ($25.00) twenty-five dollars each.

On 13 September 2008, Ms. Carlile will appraise antiques and other heirloom items of a small, easily portable size on 13 September 2008, from 10:00 am - 12:00 noon, and again from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm. Tickets to this event are ($10.00) ten dollars each, and include one appraisal per ticket.

Tickets to each event are available at Antiques at Deegan's, on Main Street. Antique aficionados can also purchase a weekend pass for forty dollars, which includes admission to both events, as well as two appraisals.
