The second annual Can Change Festival will be held Saturday, September 6 and organizers believe it’s going to be bigger, better and more influential than the last.

Having attracted over 500 people last year, the Environmental Action Committee hope to triple that number this year.

This environmental awareness festival was pioneered by the simple concept that if given the necessary tools, the average person ‘Can Change’ the way they live and the way that they impact the world around them.

The festival runs from 11AM to 11PM and will include local vendors, local artists, a corn roast, children’s games, a sand castle contest, vegetarian bar be cue, local dancers, speakers, singer/songwriters and bands in the evening.

The festival is a fun, free way to spend a day on the lovely shores of Lake Nipissing and anyone who comes will surely leave feeling that they are now part of the change.

We hope to see you Saturday,
The Environmental Action Committee
