Local woman charged with possession

On the 22nd of August at approximately 11:15AM, Csts. Steve Taylor and Mark McLeod of the North Bay Police Service arrested a female in relation to an earlier incident on the 14th of August when the female had allegedly damaged a window at Guardian Drugs on Main St. While being searched a knife and a quantity of Cocaine were located on the female.

Amanda TURCOTTE, 28 years old of First Ave E. is charged with Mischief, Possession of Cocaine and Carry a Concealed Weapon. She is being held in custody for a bail hearing.
